Wordapp Payments

Getting paid is clear and simple in Wordapp. As Wordapp grows, we are also improving our payment system. Until we fully integrate with our new payment system, we are going to use PayPal for all our payments.

How much we pay

From your Task Feed you can see exactly how much every task pays. In Wordapp, your hourly rate will be substantially higher than working “offline.” Some examples of the time you save are:

  • You don’t have to apply for jobs, all available tasks are in your task feed
  • Machine Learning makes sure the best tasks are selected that fit to you
  • You don’t have to spend time on submitting tasks in Dropbox/Email/Drive
  • Feedback shows up directly in your Task Feed

When you get paid

As soon as you submit a task, the payment for that task goes to your “pending balance.” When a task is approved by the client the payment for that task goes to your “withdrawable balance.”

As of 18/10/2017, we cannot use Skrill anymore and we will use PayPal as back-up until the new payment system is fully integrated within Wordapp.

Payments will be done as if they were done before until the first week of November, but not via Skrill. They will be done via PayPal. Starting with the first week of November:

  1. If your balance is above 300 Euro, we automatically pay it out each Friday-Monday like it was before. Wordapp will cover the transaction fees.
  2. The first week of November: If your balance is between 100 – 300 Euro, Wordapp will cover the cost of the transfer. This is only applicable for the first week of November.
  3. The first week of November: If your balance is below 100 Euro, the user will pay the transaction fee. This is only applicable for the first week of November.

This is just a temporary transitional phase while the new payment method is being implemented in Wordapp. With the new payment method, some of the cool features will be:

  • Direct bank transfer to your own accounts
  • you can withdraw your balance whenever you want to
  • you can get Wordapp branded debit cards that you can use all around the world
  • and much more.
